Speaking Tomorrow Night
I just wanted to let you know that I will be speaking tomorrow night (February 7th) at 7 p.m. at the University Place library about my book, Scenic Seattle. I’ll be discussing how I turned my personal project into a published book, showing photographs of Seattle (including some that did not make it in the book), and answering any questions about photography. Here’s a flyer from the library about the talk. So if you are in the area, come by and say hello.
The library is located at: 3609 Market Place W, Suite 100, University Place, Washington. There is parking available both in front of the library and also in the parking garage underneath the library off of Drexler Drive behind the library building.
UPDATE: the talk tonight was just cancelled because of the weather. I’ll let you know when it is rescheduled.

Well good thing you didn’t get that plane ticket Heather, they just cancelled my talk because of inclement weather (which I’m sure would make you laugh if you could actually see how much snow we have – it snowed about an inch at my house yesterday and it is all but melted now, granted other parts of the area got up to 6 inches). It will be rescheduled later, so maybe you’ll have time to get that plane ticket yet! 🙂

Awww, man! I’m so sorry to hear about the cancellation, Joe. From my vantage point in The Great North it does sound like a bit of an overreaction — but chionophobia is reaching epidemic proportions these days. Well, I hope you’re not *too* disappointed. And perhaps I will be lucky enough to attend the make-up session. In the meantime, remember to avoid licking anything made of metal. 🙂

I have loved the two trips I have made to Spain. Perhaps I’ll have to come give a talk in Madrid? 🙂
